Job Description

We're hiring a Lead Backend Developer to architect and build high-performance APIs and backend systems. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on coding, and the ability to scale applications for global usage.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Lead and mentor backend development team.
• Collaborate with front-end and DevOps teams to ship scalable products.
• Review code and ensure high standards of performance and security.
• Drive architectural decisions and refactor legacy systems.
• Ensure database design and optimization using MongoDB and Redis.
• Monitor performance metrics and uptime using AWS tools.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong command of Node.js and Express.
• Proficiency with MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
• Excellent team leadership and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and gRPC.
• Worked in fintech or large-scale SaaS environments.
